Wow, very good apple custard cream pie. Crispy, sweet but not too sweet. Pricewise 400 yen a pie is a little much though.

First try in Kumamoto’s branch . Can’t forget the fantastic taste , for me this apple pie is a MUST while travelling in Japan Hong Kong ‘s branch really can’t compare with

Food: 4/5 Apple pie/turnover with custard filling Service: 4/5 Good service Value: 3/5 A bit pricey for what you get Ambiance: 4/5 Food is to go, confectionery visible from outside Ringo means apple in Japanese, the store specializes in miniature apple pie/turnovers with a custard filling that varies by season. In addition to regular custard I have seen chocolate as well as chestnut flavored custard offered in the past. The pie/turnover itself is yummy, sadly it i not that big, and the price is a bit up there for how relatively easy it is to make the pie/turnover. Best value is to get a set of 4 and share with family and friends. There used to be long lines about 3 years ago when the store opened, these days there might be 3-5 people lined up to purchase at the store. Worth trying at least once to experience the flavor of the apple pie/turnover with custard.

Randomly chanced upon this while wandering in Osaka and fell in love!! Best Apple Pie I’ve had in my life. Highly recommend!! Can’t wait to get more
